I am passionate about my work as a Marriage and Family therapist. Ironically, I didn't initially choose this field as a career. I spent close to ten years working in the film and television production industry as an Assistant Director. The pace was fast, furious and ultimately, physically and emotionally draining. As successful as I was in that field, I became deeply dissatisfied with doing something with so little meaning for me. However, one of the things that I gained from my experience was a very good understanding of what it's like to work in an unbelievably stressful environment.  This insight helps me to relate to people who have similarly demanding jobs.

I recently moved from San Diego where I also had an individual therapy and couples counseling practice. Having grown up in Marin (Mill Valley), I'm thrilled to be back in the area that I love. I live in Novato with my husband, young son and our dog Tika. Hobbies of mine include writing, travel, fitness and photography.
